40 books in 366 days

That’s my goal for 2016. Have I reached that goal? Not anywhere close…yet. Over the past year I was so disappointed the lack of books I’ve read. I decided that I need to make reading a priority again. Reading makes me feel whole, happy and well-rounded.

I tend to gravitate towards the cheesy romance novels or dystopian young adult books but I’ve also decided I am going to try different genres and see what I like. You never know until you try it right?

I posted a list of 40 books I wanted to read back in March of 2015 (a whole year ago?!) and I’ve updated it with the latest and greatest books I’ll read this year.

By putting this out on the interwebs, I feel like this will be the accountability I didn’t have last year.

Be on the lookout for more book reviews!

Any book suggestions I should add to the list or your favorites?  I keep a running list on my Goodreads account. If you use Goodreads, I would love to see what you are reading.

  1. I love what you are doing by putting a list out there for accountability's sake. Definitely a good idea for staying on track - I recently signed up for Goodreads. I need to add some more books to my list :)

    1. Thank you so much! I've already finished another book to add the ever growing list! Goodreads is so convenient, especially when you want to get a book but can't remember any specific titles. Whip out the app and boom, you have your list!

  3. I am SO excited to see Eleanor & Park on your list! I love Rainbow Rowell. I read Eleanor & Park last summer, and I still find myself thinking about them and wondering what they're up to now. I'm currently reading Landline by Rainbow Rowell. It's more of an adult read than Eleanor & Park, but still has that 'Rainbow' feel to it.
    Great list though!

    1. Kaitlyn! Thank you, I'm almost done with Eleanor and Park, so far so good! I haven't heard of Landline, I will add it to my list.
